League Message
For the first time this season I managed to get out and watch matches in the league.
This weekend I was down at Bradley Community Centre with Les where the Gradely League had 7 matches playing. Since we were down there it was also a chance to spot check the teams down there. The outcome of which was very positive and the majority of teams had their ID cards with them. Can I just mention that it is a league rule that ID cards should be at all matches, home and away?
What was also good to see was that all mini-soccer matches had enforced the respect line that was largely respected by spectators.
It was also apparent that all of the games where played with the spirit of the game and no problems were reported to us, which from the league perspective is what we want to happen every weekend.
This is a good time to remind all teams that league officials are coming down to matches at all grounds and will be spot checking at some point during the season.
Let’s hope that the rest of the season is played in the same spirit that was seen today.
